Tarrington on the James was developed by Realty Ventures Group in 2004 and is a community located close to 288 right off Robious Road. Residents enjoy some of the finest amenities, convenience to shopping, dining and recreation, as well as fantastic public schools. Tarrington is an upscale community on 742 acres of rolling terrain with beautiful landscaped areas. Not only are they just minutes away from Chesterfield Town Center, Stony Point Fashion Park, and some of Chesterfield’s best restaurants, they have a variety of amenities. Some of which include a clubhouse, fitness room, triple-pool complex, playing field, recreation area, playgrounds, nature trials, and waterfront. The triple pool complex is the community’s most popular amenity, with a main pool, lap lanes, toddler’s play pool, and an adults only pool.

RounTrey newest addition in 2016 is the pool and clubhouse, offering one of the area’s finest amenity centers. The clubhouse features a zero entry pool with a water slide, and plenty of room for swimming and relaxing. It also features a state-of-the-art exercise facility available to all residents of RounTrey.
Since RounTrey is located along the Swift Creek Reservoir, residents often enjoy beautiful waterfront views as an extra bonus amenity, as well as a natural escape for fishing. Schools
Students residing in Tarrington on the James receive quality education from the following Chesterfield County Public Schools: Robious Elementary School, Robious Middle School, and James River High School. James River High School is home to the Center for Leadership and International Relations, offering a unique learning experience to students who possess the ability to become leaders and a desire to impact the world. In 2000, The U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School Program designated James River as a nationally recognized school of excellence. In 2008-08, they were designated as a “Model School” by the International Center for Leadership in Education.

Homes in Tarrington on the James offers townhomes and single family homes that start at about $400,000 and end at $800,000. Homes are built by some of the top builders in the area which include: Boone Homes, Main Street Homes, Homeplaces Ltd, Eagle Construction, Ryan Homes, Covenant Building & Design, and Thomas Homes.
Currently, Tarrington is working on its third and final phase to expand the community. They are working on the last 5 sections, which will add about 200 homes to 490 already built, bringing Tarrington’s homes total to 710. Three of these sections are close to the river and the community’s riverfront park.
